Indian Forest Service (IFS) Exam Results 2017 | UPSC IFS Results Declared !
UPSC on Tuesday announced the results of the Indian Forest Service exam in which an aggregate of 110 competitors have been proclaimed effective A sum of 110 hopefuls announced fruitful. Of these, 48 applicants are from General classification, 37 from OBC, 17 from booked standings and 8 from planned tribes.
A sum of 110 hopefuls have been declared effective by the Commission, an official discharge said. Of these, 48 competitors are of General classification, 37 have a place with Other Backward Classes, 17 to Scheduled Castes and eight to Scheduled Tribes, it said.
The final selection is based on the results of the Indian Forest Service (main) examination held in November, 2016 followed by personality test in February-March, 2017.
The result will also be available on the UPSC website—www.upsc.gov.in
Candidates may get any information or clarification regarding their examination or recruitment from the “facilitation counters” set up by UPSC near the examination hall building in its campus in New Delhi, on working days between 10am to 5pm in person or over telephone.
